This site was conceived as part of a broader campaign to encourage men to discuss personal medical issues. The site was devised to enable men to talk in complete confidence with a specially trained team of GPs via private peer-to-peer instant messaging software (similar in principle to MSN chat). The medics were provided with laptop computers to talk to participants and the site has a 'virtual waiting room' to provide additional information.
